Edinburgh Foodies Festival:
The three-day Festival attracted the biggest number of exhibitors since the event launched in 2005, though visitors were forced to endure wet weather and a muddy experience in Inverleith Park.
It is now one of 13 festivals across the UK and this year attracted Great British Bake Off Judge Prue Leith and Great British Menu Winner Michael Bremner among a list of chefs giving demonstrations.
This weekend’s event launched as a food, drink and wellbeing festival with a new healthy living zone featuring yoga classes, mindfulness, meditation, as well as nutrition talks from Olympic Silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne.
Exhibitors included street food vendors from around the world. Visitors could taste Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Argentinian, Turkish, Indian, Korean, Mexican, French and African flavours.
