A party to mark the opening of the Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport was attended by about a hundred guests who were entertained by live music and performance artists.
General manager Craig Webster has taken over at the 240-room hotel after three and a half years at the Hilton Garden Inn in Aberdeen and a similar spell at the Double Tree in Newcastle.
Guests were entertained by jugglers, fire dancers and music by Lauren Rose and Harris Alari who perform as Bleeker.
The Edinburgh hotel includes two meeting rooms and a gym and one of the longest lobby areas in the country, covering about 70 metres.
The lobby decor is inspired by the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival to give guests a strong sense of place.
It is the second Hampton by Hilton in Edinburgh, adding to the Fountainbridge outlet which opened in 2017. There are now 28 in the UK, including Luton, Bristol and Stansted airports.
